This time not so simple mod of FrSky DHT module inspired by awesome application for Android: FrSky Dashboard<\/a><\/p>\n

Goal: make TTL level output from FrSky DHT module serial interface instead of standard RS232.
\nWhy? To easily connect bluetooth module and microprocessor in r\/c remote control.
\nI found similar mod here<\/a> but it require cutting traces and adding new pins or cables to module. Because after mod old serial connector is useless I decided to not cut any traces and use old pins to send ttl signals.
\nIn fact mod is simple but requires using of hot-air and very precise soldering.<\/p>\n

Module with shrinkwrap removed:

For RS232 levels interface SL3232 is used, so I removed it (with hot-air):

Connecting pins 12 with 13 and 11 with 14:

Meaning of external pins remained unchanged, just standard is TTL now, no additional pins or cables outside. Just put new heat shinkwrap and that’s it:-)
